Kiku Sharda has firmly established himself as a household name in Indian comedy, thanks to his remarkable performances that have left audiences in fits of laughter. For over a decade, Sharda has been a staple on The Kapil Sharma Show, often portraying eccentric and amusing characters, many of which involve cross-dressing. The Comedic Genius Behind Cross-Dressing Roles

In an interview, Kiku Sharda expressed deep gratitude towards his audience, who have wholeheartedly embraced his performances in cross-dressed roles. He explained that his dedication to his craft allows him to perform these roles without any hesitation, a practice he began long before The Kapil Sharma Show, during his days on The Great Indian Comedy Show. "I've never had any hesitation in dressing as a woman; I’ve been doing it since the days of The Great Indian Comedy Show," Sharda candidly shared.

The actor emphasised that for him, performing in a female role is not about gender, but rather about the versatility and depth of acting. "As an actor, I believe I should be capable of taking on any role that comes my way," he remarked. Sharda also stressed that his portrayal of female characters is always respectful and aims to evoke a sense of charm and cuteness. "When I play a female character, I make sure it’s dignified and stays within the 'cute' realm," he said. According to him, the audience’s acceptance and appreciation have been the driving force behind his continuation of such roles. "If the audience hadn’t accepted me in such roles, I wouldn’t have continued," he added, displaying his profound respect for viewer feedback.

A Life Transformed by The Kapil Sharma Show

Reflecting on his career, Sharda acknowledged that his life took a significant turn after joining The Kapil Sharma Show. "Kapil operates on a different level altogether," he remarked, crediting his time on the show for helping shape his identity as a performer.
