Sharvari Reveals Her Dance Inspiration
While Sharvari’s acting skills have taken the industry by storm, her passion for dancing runs just as deep. She made her mark with the electrifying number “Taras,” proving she’s not only a talented actress but also a captivating dancer. Landing one of the biggest dance tracks of the year is a remarkable feat for someone so early in her career.
Sharvari's connection to dance goes back to her childhood, long before she was in the spotlight. Reflecting on her love for dance, she shared, "I can immediately start to dance if music comes on. This has always been me since I was a child. Growing up, I became a super filmy kid, imagining myself as a Bollywood heroine, wearing chiffon sarees, running through mustard fields, and dancing to the beautiful songs from Hindi films."
Sharvari believes she manifested this dream for herself, landing a big dance number like Taras. "I was thrilled when my producer, Dinesh Vijan sir, trusted me with such a song. I gave it my all while filming Taras; it was an opportunity to showcase my dance skills to the industry. There was no way I was going to do it half-heartedly."
Her dedication paid off, and Taras became a huge success. "I practiced the steps every day, and I’m so grateful that people loved what they saw. Watching audiences dance to my song in theatres was surreal. I hope to keep entertaining with my acting, my dancing, and my hard work."
Sharvari also credited Bollywood’s legendary heroines for inspiring her. "Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Kareena Kapoor, and Katrina Kaif have all left an incredible legacy. They’ve danced their way into people’s hearts, and I hope to follow in their footsteps."
