In recent weeks, Salman Khan, the celebrated Bollywood actor, has found himself at the centre of a storm of controversy, primarily stemming from the discontent expressed by the Bishnoi community. This discontent arises from allegations that Khan killed a blackbuck, an animal deeply revered by this community. In light of these accusations, community leaders have issued a public call for Khan to apologize at their temple, further escalating the tension surrounding the situation.

The actor's predicament has intensified with threats reportedly issued by Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, culminating in gunfire outside Khan's residence. Such violent acts have only served to heighten concerns about the safety of the actor, leading to an urgent need for resolution. In response to these alarming developments, Salim Khan, Salman’s father, defended his son in an interview , asserting that Salman did not harm any animal and questioning the rationale behind the call for an apology.

Adding a layer of complexity to the narrative, Somy Ali, Salman’s ex-girlfriend, disclosed that he had confided in her regarding the blackbuck incident. According to her account, Khan claimed to have killed the animal without any knowledge of the Bishnoi community's cultural reverence for it. This revelation has sparked further debate about the actor's awareness of the implications of his actions.

In an interview with , Devendra Bishnoi, the president of the Bishnoi community, took a firm stance on the matter. He emphatically stated, "First and foremost, I want to clarify that Somy Ali is not in my contacts. Furthermore, our community does not permit anyone to seek forgiveness or perform rituals on behalf of someone else. The individual who commits a crime must be the one to seek repentance." Bishnoi’s assertion underscores the community's deeply rooted beliefs about accountability and justice.

Bishnoi went on to address the issue of the apology, expressing his discontent with Salim Khan's assertion that his son acted without wrongdoing. "Salman cannot be forgiven," he declared, reinforcing the community's demand for accountability. "You cannot evade responsibility by lying. The truth is what can save you; acknowledging your mistake and asking for forgiveness is the proper course of action."

As the Bishnoi community continues to voice its grievances, Bishnoi also touched upon the ongoing court case related to the allegations against Salman Khan. "We will not extend forgiveness either, as these individuals are compounding their lies. They initially made allegations concerning money. He is our offender. I urge the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Law Minister to expedite this case and ensure that Salman is held accountable."
