The prestigious title of Femina Miss India 2024 has been awarded to Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh, making her the crown bearer of this year's pageant. Rekha Pandayy, representing the Union Territories, secured the first runner-up position, while Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat took the third spot at the annual beauty contest.

Porwal was crowned by the outgoing Femina Miss India World 2023, Nandini Gupta, in a grand ceremony. Bollywood actress and former Miss India Neha Dhupia added the Miss India sash to her, as shared on the pageant’s official Instagram account.

About Nikita Porwal

Hailing from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Nikita Porwal embodies the motto, "Be a Life that Matters." She pursued her early education at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School and is currently enrolled at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda for her higher studies.

Porwal’s career began early at the age of 18, starting as a TV anchor and later transitioning into acting. Her latest film, which has already garnered attention at international festivals, is set for release in India soon. Additionally, she has a strong background in theatre, having participated in over 60 plays. Her storytelling passion led her to write a 250-page play titled "Krishna Leela."

Miss India 2024 Event Highlights

The 60th edition of the Miss India pageant took place on October 16 at Famous Studios in Mumbai, where 30 contestants representing each Indian state and one Union Territory competed for the coveted title. The event was graced by performances from actress Sangeeta Bijlani, while notable celebrities like Neha Dhupia, choreographer Raghav Juyal, and jury member Anusha Dandekar made a mark on the red carpet.

Nikita Porwal’s win marks another exciting chapter in the rich legacy of Femina Miss India, celebrating grace, talent, and determination.
