Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di marks the third instalment of the celebrated Ardaas series, following the success of Ardaas (2016) and Ardaas Karaan (2019). This franchise, known for its compelling storytelling, seems to improve with each chapter, and the latest film is no exception.

Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di Movie Review: Worth The Watch or Not?

At its core, Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di retains the essence of its predecessors, focusing on grounded drama, relatable characters, and universal messages. The film's narrative, while familiar, is delivered with a fresh perspective that resonates deeply with the audience.

The film boasts a stellar cast, including Gippy Grewal, Prince Kanwaljit, Raghveer Boli, and Gurpreet Ghuggi. Each actor brings authenticity and depth to their roles, but it is Gurpreet Ghuggi who truly stands out. His portrayal of an inspirational figure is reminiscent of his iconic role as 'Magic Singh' from the previous instalment, continuing to captivate and inspire both the characters and the viewers.

Gippy Grewal excels once again as a writer and director. While he leads the film, his role is strategically introduced 30 minutes into the narrative, demonstrating his commitment to the story rather than seeking the spotlight. Grewal’s writing includes dialogues that reference Gurbani's verses. Though spiritual, these dialogues are presented in a way that is accessible and avoids preachiness, making them impactful without being overwhelming.

The themes of the film—such as the generational gap, father-son conflicts, and the challenges faced by girl children—are explored once more, but with enhanced relatability. Grewal has adeptly balanced the film’s messages with entertainment, ensuring that each character’s journey is engaging. The film’s progression is such that viewers may find themselves moved to tears by the revelation of a character’s dark past.
