In an interview with actor and host, Rohit Roy, Gurmeet shared the insights of his disciplined routine and dietary plan, which he has been following from the last six-seven months. He highlighted the numerous benefits he has experienced as a result of this commitment.

But is completely eliminating sugar from our diets necessary? Let's delve into the advantages and disadvantages of a sugar free lifestyle. According to a clinical dietitian, Garima Goyal, intaking any sugary beverages or direct sugar, it takes a big toll on health and has various negative implications. High sugar consumption can lead to obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, poor dental health and many more. Additionally, it can also lead to a constant feeling of  fatigue and  lethargy, due to reduced energy levels in the body.

Having natural forms of sugar such as fruit sugar is not harmful.
