The renowned Kulhad Pizza couple from Jalandhar, famous for their unique culinary offerings, has once again found themselves embroiled in controversy. Recently, a significant uproar erupted outside their establishment, stemming from the release of an obscene video associated with the owner, Sehaj Arora. This situation escalated when a group of Nihang Singhs from the Baba Budha Group arrived to confront him regarding the matter.

In a video shared on social media, Sehaj addressed the situation directly, announcing his intention to visit Sri Akal Takht Sahib in the near future. He expressed his desire to submit a petition to Jathedar Sahib, seeking clarification on whether he is permitted to wear a turban. In this impassioned plea, he also called upon the administration and Sri Akal Takht Sahib to ensure the safety and well-being of himself and his family amidst the ongoing tensions.

A Call for Respect and Safety

The controversy is rooted in a previous encounter, during which the Nihang Singhs disrupted activities outside the Kulhad Pizza coupleโ€™s shop. Their primary contention is that Sehaj should refrain from wearing a turban while producing videos that they deem disrespectful to the Sikh community. They argue that his actions not only undermine the sanctity of the turban but also have a detrimental effect on children who might view such content.

The Nihang Singhs, taking a firm stance, insisted that if Sehaj wishes to create videos, he must do so without a turban. They expressed their disapproval of what they perceive as his inappropriate behavior, asserting that his actions project a misguided sense of celebrity while engaging in content that they find offensive. Their warning was unequivocal: failure to comply with their demands would result in formal complaints against him.

Accusations and Warnings

Moreover, the Nihang Singhs accused Sehaj of having gone so far as to make the obscene video viral through his phone, implicating innocent individuals, particularly young women. They expressed deep concern regarding his plans to establish a social media account for his son to share videos, firmly asserting that such activities should not be permitted.

Sikh groups have responded robustly to this situation, issuing stern warnings to Sehaj. They demand an immediate cessation of what they label as indecent conduct, coupled with a directive that he either remove his turban or discontinue such activities entirely. The controversy surrounding the Kulhad Pizza couple serves as a poignant reminder of the delicate balance between personal expression and community values, particularly within the Sikh community.
