Among the participants is Shilpa Shirodkar, a prominent figure from the film industry during the 1990s. Renowned not only for her impressive acting career but also as the elder sister of actress Namrata Shirodkar and sister-in-law to the celebrated Mahesh Babu, Shilpa is a name that evokes nostalgia among film aficionados.
Shilpa's filmography boasts several notable titles, including Kishan Kanhaiya, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan, and Bewafa Sanam. Despite her earlier successes, Shilpa made the decision to step away from the limelight following her marriage, relocating away from the industry and the country. However, with a renewed desire to re-establish herself in the cinematic sphere, Shilpa has chosen Bigg Boss as her platform for this resurgence.
Eager to discuss her comeback, Shilpa has made it clear that she prefers not to engage in conversations regarding her sister’s personal life. As reported by India Today, she has consciously decided to refrain from commenting on the lives of Namrata and Mahesh Babu. Nonetheless, Shilpa expresses a sense of assurance about her authenticity during her time on the show. “I will play with all my heart,” she asserted. “I have no secrets, so there’s no reason for me to be cautious or concerned about my image. I will simply be myself and engage in the game wholeheartedly.”
Interestingly, neither Namrata nor Mahesh Babu has publicly addressed Shilpa’s participation in Bigg Boss, which adds a layer of intrigue to her journey on the show.
On the subject of her relationship with the show's host, Salman Khan, Shilpa was quick to clarify any misconceptions. “I do not have any advantage from him. Although I worked in the '90s while he was also gaining recognition, he is merely a colleague to me. I do not share a special bond with him, nor is he a close friend. However, I do look forward to getting to know him better. I have watched every season and believe he is an exceptional host—very fair—and I am eager to embark on this new journey alongside him.”
