After winning hearts in Punjabi cinema, Sonam Bajwa is all set to make her grand Bollywood debut in the much-anticipated comedy franchise, Housefull 5. The actress, who has captivated audiences with her performances in Punjabi films, is now leaving no stone unturned in marking her presence in the Hindi film industry. The shoot for Housefull 5 is in full swing, with the team currently filming in the UK. The production is taking place on a cruise, and on Wednesday, the makers shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) picture featuring the ensemble cast, which includes Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dino Morea, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, and Ranjeet. Alongside them, actresses Jacqueline Fernandez, Chitrangda Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, and Sonam Bajwa were also spotted, adding more excitement to the star-studded project.

The journey of the Housefull franchise began in 2010, with the original film featuring a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, and Boman Irani. The film was a box office hit, leading to the release of Housefull 2 in 2012, which saw an expanded ensemble cast and became another success.
While the first two instalments were directed by Sajid Khan, the third film in the franchise, Housefull 3 (2016), was directed by the duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji. The fourth film, Housefull 4, was a reincarnation comedy helmed by Farhad Samji.
