I thought, ‘What is this? Is it a kick?’”

Another cherished memory for Alia is Raha’s first word. There was a playful debate at home about whether Raha would say “Mumma” or “Papa” first. To Alia’s delight, Raha said “Mumma” during a moment of playtime when they were alone.
