Celebrating the Indian Air Force Day, acclaimed filmmaker Abhishek Dudhaiya unveiled plans for his next project, with the approval from the Ministry of Defence, a big-budget film based on the pivotal 2019 Balakot airstrike–the daring military operation, conducted by the Indian Air Force that targeted the terrorist camps in Balakot, Pakistan, in response to the devastating Pulwama Attack.
Abhishek Dudhaiya, known for directing 'Bhuj: The Pride of India', the 2021 film which chronicled the Indo-Pak war of 1971, which promised an epic retelling of this recent chapter in Indian history.
Sharing the idea of his new project, Abhishek said that this project will be a big-budget film with the cast featuring six prominent actors from both North and South, ensuring a pan-India appeal. Previously, movies like 'Operation Valentine', 'Balakot: The True Story' and 'Sector Balakot,' have explored similar themes, but Dudhaiya's project promises a unique perspective.
