Sharvari Wagh, known for her role in 'Munjya,' made her debut in the 2021 crime comedy 'Bunty aur Babli 2,' produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) alongside Rani Mukhjerjee, Saif Ali Khan and Siddhant Chaturvedi, who supported her and became a guiding light in her journey.

The actress shared her experience as an assistant director on the set, where she started off with 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' followed by 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety,' from where she got the exposure about behind the camera and other things related to films.

In a recent interview addressing the issue of male dominance in the film industry, she emphasised that the focus should not be on gender but on talent and collaboration. She said, "I think it's really not about male or female. It's about the film’s requirements and how the characters are written. What matters is the demand of the script, and when you fulfill that, that’s when audiences truly connect.”

She believes that fostering an inclusive environment benefits everyone involved in filmmaking, as she encourages a shift away from viewing roles through a gendered lens, advocating for more unified approach that values creativity and skill above all.

Since her remarkable performance in the Prime Video series 'The Forgotten Army,' 2020, Sharvari has garnered positive attention for her projects like 'Munjya' and 'Maharaja,' which further elevated her recognition. Most recently, she also starred in the action-packed film ‘Vedaa’ alongside John Abraham.

The actress was also seen excited for her upcoming film, 'Alpha,' co-starring Alia Bhatt. It is Yash Raj spy universes' first of its kind film which features two women in incredible action sequences. She also shared her passion for storytelling that gets her an overwhelming response from the audience especially when it comes to choosing the right role.

‘Alpha,’ directed by Shiv Rawail, marks a significant shift for Yash Raj Films, which has been known for its male-centric action narratives.
The studio has stirred considerable excitement with a title reveal video that highlights the film’s motto: “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar aur humare program ka motto.. sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabse veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega.. ALPHA!”
Alia Bhatt, who stars alongside Sharvari, adds to the buzz surrounding this project.
