Raid 2 Gets New Release Date
Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Raid 2 promises to deliver a gripping narrative led by Ajay Devgn as the resolute IRS officer, Amay Patnaik. The film is produced by an accomplished team including Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishna Kumar.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the exciting news on Instagram, stating:

In Raid 2, Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the formidable IRS officer, with Vaani Kapoor starring as the female lead. Riteish Deshmukh steps into the role of the antagonist, facing off against Devgn in what promises to be a thrilling clash. Rajat Kapoor also features in a significant role. The film was extensively shot in Delhi and Lucknow, adding authenticity and depth to its setting.
The original Raid, released in 2018, was based on a real-life Income Tax raid from the 1980s, and starred Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D'Cruz. Ileana played the role of Ajay Devgn's wife in the first film.
Raid 2 is produced under the banner of Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. Fans can look forward to another intense cinematic experience when the film releases in theatres next year.
