Manasi Parekh recently made headlines by winning not only one but three awards for her mind-blowing production and remarkable performance in a Gujarati film "Kutch Express," at the 70th National Film Awards. This prestigious honour marks her fifth National Award, further establishing her as a leading figure in the film industry.

She made her debut with 'India Calling' and further featured in shows like 'Gulaal' and 'Sumit Sambhal Lega.' In a recent interview, Manasi emphasised the challenges she faced during the early days of her career due to which she chose to take the regional path and quit her passion for Bollywood. She was discovered by Ekta Kapoor, an Indian film producer and television director. However, she asserted Manasi that in this industry one is only as good as it's their last show, and you need to keep working and figuring out your next gigs.

Parekh says, "I've gotten out of my home at 8 am with three pairs of different clothes and gone from one audition to the other, waited with 150 people for the same role. I chose to face those challenges because our struggles define us. I've fought through them all, and the success that follows those hardships is even sweeter. If we believe in ourselves, we can achieve anything."

Despite her success, Manasi shared her frustration with being typecast in Bollywood. In "URI: The Surgical Strike," she essayed the role of Vicky Kaushal's sister. Following that role, she was offered similar roles, which led to her fading interest in the industry.

Later she started working as a producer on a few films to explore different opportunities. She added, "Now as a producer, I have the chance to create compelling character."

With her recent recognition, Manasi Parekh serves as an inspiration, showcasing the power of flexibility and self-belief in this competitive world of cinema. She signs off by sharing her mantra for anyone who wants to make an impact: "No matter what you're feeling, no matter what you're going through, just show up for what you believe in, it might take time but it will always come to you." These words of hers remind us that persistence and passion can lead to fulfilment, encouraging aspiring artists to stay true to their journey and keep moving forward.
